Why are there so many different types?

Each cream is formulated differently but essentially provides the same purpose; fast-acting temporary numbing of the skin.

In the manufacturing process of the cream, they have a slightly different propriety compound blend giving them a different percentage which is what you see on the box.

How long does the numbing effect last?

It can variate from person to person as everyone reacts differently but as a guide, it can generally last between 3-5 hours.

Does TKTX effect the tattoo quality?

No it does not, this is a myth….!!

What are the active ingredients?

Lidocaine, Prilocaine and Epinephrine.

How long before it takes effect?

We highly recommend leaving the cream on for 45-60 minutes to take full effect.

Are there any side effects?

Irresponsible use of TKTX numbing cream may lead to undesirable side effects. Carefully read instructions provided. Consult a medical practitioner if concerned.

Who should avoid using TKTX?

It is advised that people who have heart disease, high blood pressure, pregnant and/or breastfeeding, known allergies to any of the ingredients, thyroid disease, or have difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland, or if you are allergic to the ingredients should not use TKTX.

Where can it be applied?

It should only be used on normal, unbroken skin before certain procedures such as tattoos, cosmetic, laser, medical and needle-related procedures.

How should I use TKTX?

Use TKTX aus cream exactly as directed on the label, or as it has been prescribed by your doctor. Do not apply TKTX cream in larger amounts than recommended. Avoid contact with eye and broken skin.

How to store TKTX?

Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the tube after exp. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 30°c. Store in the original pack.
